Lisa Swanson, CPA/ABV, CVA
Lisa Swanson is the President and Founder of Blue Abaco Consulting, Inc. located in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. With over 20 years of accounting experience in public and private industry, Lisa currently specializes in financial consulting and valuation for financial reporting purposes. Her expertise includes impairment testing, purchase price allocations, intangible asset valuation, stock-based compensation and other fair value measurements required under current accounting standards. Her clients consists of small to mid-size companies located throughout the United States.
Lisa formerly held the position as an auditor in a public accounting firm with clients in a variety of industries including healthcare, technology, hospitality and manufacturing. Her years of audit experience provided her with an understanding of the information an audit firm needs to support their audit opinion related to fair value measurements. Lisa was also a partner in a boutique consulting firm that provided valuation and consulting services to public and private companies. This position gave her a strong background in valuation and she worked directly with CFO’s from companies ranging from development stage companies to those with over $300 million in sales. Prior to her positions in public accounting, she had over nine years of private accounting experience in the healthcare industry.
Lisa received her Bachelors in Accounting from the University of South Florida. She is a member of the Forensic and Valuation Services Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Certified Valuator’s and Analysts and the American Women’s Society of Certified Public Accountants.

- Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA)
In her spare time, Lisa spends time with her husband and her two rescued (and spoiled) boxer dogs and she enjoys traveling, running, hiking, reading and cooking. She is drawn to and passionate about charitable organizations such as the Humane Society of Tampa Bay and All Children’s Hospital.
